Iranian media talks about “Striking the digital eye” of the American presence in the gulf

Iran’s “Tasnim” news agency highlighted what it described as a shift in the nature of attacks against the American presence in the Gulf.

The agency stated that the recent Revolutionary Guard operations in Bahrain focused, according to its narrative, on technological sites including an artificial intelligence center, a facility linked to drone boats, and a data center belonging to a communications company, considering that these sites represent an essential part of the information gathering and data processing system in the region.

The report added that data centers and intelligent systems play a pivotal role in analyzing images and information coming from sensors and radars, and linking them to surveillance and tracking operations, explaining that disrupting these capabilities could affect what it described as the “sensor-to-shooter chain” in modern military systems.

“Tasnim” considered that targeting these facilities carries a message that goes beyond the direct military aspect, as it directs a warning to countries hosting American bases in the region that the technological and industrial infrastructure linked to military operations may become within the scope of targeting.
