The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission has documented the death of 20 Palestinians as a result of settler attacks since the beginning of this year, confirming the escalation of attacks to unprecedented levels compared to the past two years. The authority said, in a statement today, Thursday, that the number of martyrs recorded since the beginning of the year exceeded the death toll of 2024, which amounted to 11 martyrs, as well as the total of 2025, which recorded 14 martyrs. She explained that this rise reflects the escalation of attacks in the areas adjacent to the pastoral settlement outposts and settlement roads, which constitute a supportive environment for the settlers’ attacks. And it indicated that the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate recorded the highest number of martyrs, with 12 martyrs, equivalent to 56% of the total victims. Salfit is one martyr. The commission indicated that the shooting was the main means in the killings, as 16 Palestinians were killed by settlers’ bullets, in addition to two martyrs as a result of the attack and the chase. It reflects the diversity and breadth of assault methods.
