Reuters: Sharp decline in Saudi stocks following “Houthi” attacks

Reuters confirmed that most stock markets in the Gulf region, led by Saudi Arabia, closed lower, against the backdrop of the repercussions of the “Houthi” attacks on Saudi oil facilities at two ports overlooking the Red Sea.

It indicated that the Saudi index fell by 0.3 percent, affected by a 4 percent decline in the share of Banque Saudi Fransi after trading ex-dividend, while the share of the oil giant Saudi Aramco fell by 0.9 percent.

It added that the Qatari index fell by 0.3 percent, with the share of Qatar Islamic Bank losing 0.8 percent, and the Bahraini index also fell by 0.1 percent.
