Night images of Saudi officers fleeing Aden as aerial operations resume

The city of Aden, the most prominent stronghold of the Saudi-loyal government in southern Yemen, witnessed a mass flight of Saudi officers and leaders on Thursday. This coincides with the flight of military drones in its skies amid fears of a repeat of previous operations in several Yemeni cities.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Activists in Aden circulated a nighttime image showing Saudi soldiers and officers, along with others in civilian clothes, gathering near a military transport plane preparing to evacuate them from the city.

The images show the officers leaving without even their belongings, an indication that the arrangements were made hastily.

These moments of flight from Aden coincide with renewed drone flights in the city’s skies.

Night explosions were heard again north of the city, specifically in Al-Buraiqa, which hosts the largest Saudi base.

Although Saudi Arabia had begun distributing its forces to residential areas, its decision to evacuate them from the city indicates fears of military developments not seen before that could increase the pace of casualties among its forces.

It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia had lost officers and soldiers in concentrated Yemeni operations targeting operations rooms, camps, and housing headquarters in the east and west of Yemen.
