Amid expectations of its widening scope… The decline in Saudi oil production puts Vision 2030 at stake

The significant decline in Saudi oil production has cast its shadow on the interests of international and regional media.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

International media outlets have devoted extensive coverage to the new development in the most important oil-producing country in the Middle East. These outlets hosted analysts to discuss the future of Saudi oil in light of the rapidly unfolding developments in the region.

Most prominently among these outlets was Qatari media, which quoted experts’ expectations of the continued decline in Saudi oil production amid ongoing geopolitical developments in the region. The “Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed” website quoted experts describing the decline in oil, which has significantly impacted the rest of the Kingdom’s productive sectors, as putting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030 to a real test of its ability to protect the economy from sharp fluctuations.

Saudi Arabia had confirmed in a quarterly report a decline in oil production in recent months by a rate of a quarter.

Although Saudi Arabia tried to reassure regarding what is happening, experts affirmed that the Kingdom is living in a real predicament that requires it to resort to financial savings and coordination with OPEC+ to maintain deficit coverage.

Saudi Arabia has been living a real crisis for weeks, imposed by Yemen’s decision to confront the siege with a siege.

The Yemeni forces began on July 20 to impose a ban on Saudi navigation in the Red Sea, accompanied by concentrated operations on oil transport ships, facilities, and export ports.
