Raids Target the Remnants of Tareq’s Forces in the Lahj Desert Amid Their Decision to Sell Military Vehicles

A series of explosions rocked a gathering center for the remnants of Tareq Saleh’s forces in the Lahj desert on Saturday.

This coincides with their decision to sell their weapons in urgent auctions.

Local sources in Ras Al-Arah reported that a series of raids targeted gatherings of Tareq’s forces in the desert located on the western edge of Lahj governorate.

The raids focused on bombing armored vehicles and crews.

Tareq’s fighters had begun in recent hours selling military equipment at cheap prices.

The price of an armored vehicle, a crew vehicle, and trucks reached about 5,000 Saudi riyals.

The decision of Tareq’s remnants to sell those vehicles came as their siege continued for the second consecutive day and their entry into Aden was prevented.

The Transitional Council factions surrounding those forces demanded the handover of the vehicles.

An media advisor to Tareq had revealed what he considered grave violations against the families of Tareq’s fighters fleeing towards Aden.

Among those practices were the looting of women’s gold, forcing them off buses, and preventing their reception in Aden hotels.
