Egyptian military researcher: The Yemeni field tips the balance in favor of Ansar Allah for these reasons

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Egyptian researcher and analyst of military and strategic affairs, Mahmoud Gamal, believes that the recent developments in the Yemeni military field tip the balance in favor of Ansar Allah forces, in light of what he described as the fundamental imbalance suffered by the forces loyal to the Presidential Council at both the operational and moral levels.

Gamal said in an article published on his Telegram page that the rapid and random withdrawals witnessed on the western coast fronts reveal deep problems in the structure and organization of the forces loyal to the Presidential Council, affirming that rehabilitating and reorganizing these forces requires a long period that may extend for years, not just days, weeks, or months.

The military researcher pointed out that re-introducing forces that withdrew randomly into new battles before addressing their weaknesses and fully reorganizing and rehabilitating them may lead to them suffering greater losses, noting that redeployment on the ground does not necessarily mean restoring combat capability or the ability to withstand battles.

He explained that the forces loyal to the Presidential Council also suffer from fundamental disagreements between their leaders, which directly reflected on their field performance, considering that addressing these imbalances requires rebuilding internal cohesion and enhancing the operational and moral capability of the forces.

On the other hand, Mahmoud Gamal affirmed that the field revealed that Ansar Allah forces possess unified leadership and a single command and control room, along with advanced offensive and defensive plans and modern methods in managing combat at both the operational and moral levels.

The researcher suggested that the coming phase will witness additional field successes for Ansar Allah, considering that the balance of power in the foreseeable term tilts in favor of the group, in light of what he described as the strategic successes it has achieved and its control of the Al-Mokha, Dhubab, and Mayyun Island areas, in addition to enhancing its influence in the vicinity of Bab Al-Mandeb.

The researcher and analyst of military and strategic affairs concluded his assessment by affirming that any attempt to regain positions or change the field equation requires forces possessing a high level of organization, rehabilitation, and the ability to withstand and fight, which he considered the forces loyal to the Presidential Council still need a long time to achieve.
