Al-Murtada Reveals the Capture of 800 Recruits on the Western Coast and Affirms: The Presidential Amnesty Is a Rare Opportunity for the Misled

The head of the Prisoners’ Committee in Sana’a, Abdulqader Al-Murtada, affirmed that the scale of human losses among the Saudi factions during “the operations to liberate and clear the western coast far exceeds the announced figures, whether in terms of killed or wounded.” He noted that this “heavy toll reflects the magnitude of the military achievement and the scale of the confrontations in which the enemy suffered heavy losses.”

Al-Murtada revealed, in statements, that about 800 prisoners fell into the hands of the Yemeni Armed Forces during the coast battle, in which the fortifications of the Saudi factions were destroyed and their forces scattered.

The head of the Prisoners’ Committee in Sana’a explained that “the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, issued a general and comprehensive amnesty for the misled,” stressing that “the decision requires laying down arms and an honorable return to the homeland’s embrace, out of the leadership’s keenness to provide them with an opportunity to reconsider their positions and reintegrate socially as partners in building the country.”
