The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has observed Israeli military activity within Lebanese territory, along with continued restrictions on the freedom of movement of its peacekeepers.
Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Farhan Haq, explained that peacekeepers observed Israeli drones in the vicinity of Mansouri between Thursday and Sunday, noting that at least 32 airstrikes were recorded within UNIFIL’s area of operations during the same period.
He affirmed that UNIFIL continues to support humanitarian efforts despite the security situation.
