The Ministry of Transport in the Sana’a government announced the crossing of 1,151 international commercial ships through the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait during the past month of September, affirming the continuation of maritime and commercial navigation movement normally, safely, and with high flow.
Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Ministry explained in a statement that all commercial ships enjoy complete freedom of passage through the maritime corridor, noting that the crossing numbers recorded during September reflect the stability of navigational activity and the non-affectedness of the movement of global trade by the field operations in the region.
The statement stressed that the maritime ban measures announced by the Armed Forces are limited only to the ships affiliated with the criminal Saudi regime, and do not include the rest of the international commercial ships crossing the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandeb.
The Ministry renewed its affirmation that Sana’a clearly distinguishes between the Saudi ships targeted by the ban and the international commercial navigation that enjoys complete safety and freedom of passage and crossing through the strait.
