The Saudi cities were subjected on Saturday to the widest Yemeni attack, in an indication of the entry of the operations that began 4 months ago into a new phase.
Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Saudi Arabia acknowledged through the words of its military spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki, several operations during the recent hours that hit the capital Riyadh and the Eastern Region, in addition to Yanbu, Taif, and Najran, while Saudi platforms confirmed the sounds of explosions in Jeddah, where smoke columns were seen rising from King Faisal Naval Base.
The attacks are the widest through the coalition’s announcement and indicate the entry by Sana’a of new targets such as the main naval base on the Red Sea.
The Yemeni forces had begun their operations within the equation of “siege for siege” gradually on the twentieth of last July by imposing a maritime siege focused on targeting the oil ports and Saudi ships in the Red Sea, before the operations developed into targeting the oil facilities and refineries, reaching the airports with the beginning of the implementation of an air siege.
The recent attacks indicate a new phase of operations in quantity and quality, especially with video clips showing the failure of the multi-layered and multi-nationality air defense systems to intercept those missiles, not to mention the size of the explosion they leave behind, which indicates heavy warheads.
