Medical sources reported that a number of the wounded are still in a critical stage.
Saudi aviation had earlier on Friday bombed a crowded market in the district under the control of the Sana’a forces south of Al-Mandab.
The market was subjected to three successive airstrikes.
In the same context, the tribes of the district expressed anger at leaders within the ranks of the coalition.
Sheikhs in Al-Wazi’iyah affirmed that the leader within the ranks of the coalition factions, Nuh Al-Jasri, is behind the crime, affirming that he is the one who raised the coordinates with the aim of marketing himself as a new and capable leader in the district.
The Al-Wazi’iyah massacre is one of several massacres of Saudi aviation that left dozens of martyrs and wounded since the start of the escalation in Yemen.
