The Grand Mufti of Oman: I urge Muslims worldwide to provide relief to Gaza from the floods

The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, expressed his solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip following the torrential rains that flooded their homes and inundated their tents. He called on Muslims worldwide to take action to provide aid to those affected and alleviate their suffering.

In a statement posted on his X platform on Sunday, Al-Khalili wrote: “We have learned of the suffering endured by our brothers and sisters in Gaza due to the heavy rains and the devastating floods that have swept through their homes. We offer our condolences and pray to God Almighty to relieve their distress, ease their hardship, and remove their affliction.”

The Grand Mufti added: “We urge all Muslims to support them financially, hasten to provide them with aid, and share with them the blessings God has bestowed upon them.”
