Tribal Gunmen stopped oil trucks in Hadramaut province on Wednesday in conjunction with a security lapse in the province.
Local sources said that the tribal youths from Al-Hamad bin Ali tribe, Wadi Amd, stopped and seized locomotives transporting crude oil from Calvalley Petroleum Company’s Field 9 in the Hajran field in Haridah.
According to the sources, the field ceased operation after the tribal men held crude oil trucks.
The province has been witnessing large demonstrations denouncing the collapse of the national currency, poor services and power outages.
