Tribes and sheikhs of Abdiya district in the Marib province began on Monday to form the first military brigade to confront the Saudi-led coalition and al-Qaeda elements to liberate the province.
According to tribal sources familiar with the matter, they stated that the tribes have started to complete the military brigade called “Uways al-Qaranī,” from the fighters of the district.
Uways al-Qaranī was one of the noblemen of Tabi’un and is known as the example of asceticism and piety. After the demise of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (s) he was one of the close companions of Imam ‘Ali ben Aby Taleb.
