Hundreds of citizens have been infected with the new Omicron variant of Covid-19 in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, local sources said on Sunday.
The sources added that the Hadi government’s Ministry of Health was content with silence and did not equip any centers or hospitals to treat citizens with this emerging virus.
This government disregard led to resentment by the citizens against the government and health authorities loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
