Sana’a: Saudi Coalition Seizes New Fuel Ship

The Sana’a-based Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) announced on Tuesday the seizure of a new oil ship by the Saudi-led coalition, in a new violation of the UN-brokered armistice.

The company’s spokesman, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said in a tweet on Twitter that the coalition seized the ship “Princess Halima”, which was loaded with 23,920 tons of gasoline, and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeida despite it was inspected and given entry permits by the United Nations.

Al-Mutawakel confirmed that the coalition is still practicing piracy on fuel ships obtaining entry permits from the United Nations, which was unable to let in ships of a humanitarian character, either before or during the announced truce.
