Saudi Prisoners Will Not Be Released Except with Comprehensive Deal: Sana’a

The prisoners’ file has been frozen since last March, the head of the Prisoners’ Affairs Committee in Sana’a, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada, said on Wednesday.

Al-Mortada affirmed on Twitter that an agreement, signed by Sana’a with the other party on the exchange of more than 2,200 war prisoners from both sides, sponsored by the UN, has not been made progress.

He pointed out that the coalition forces, at the behest of the Saudi regime, are refusing and obstructing the implementation of the agreement, blaming the Saudi regime for this deliberate delay and obstruction.
