Sana’a: Coalition Drains Yemeni Fish Wealth Using Internationally Banned Tools

The coalition countries’ campaign to deplete Yemeni fish wealth by using internationally banned tools to dredge fish and marine organisms off the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden was condemned on Thursday by the Sana’a government’s Ministry of Fish Wealth.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In a statement, the Ministry called on the “free sons of the southern provinces to stand together and expel the occupying forces, as well as protect the territorial waters from blatant interventions and attacks that harm fishing and fishermen.

In its statement, it emphasized that “the Yemeni people will not abandon their rights and wealth and will defend them despite the continuation of the aggression and siege.”

For the ninth year, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates continue to deplete and destroy the fish wealth in areas controlled by their factions, “posing significant risks to this wealth, in addition, the looting and depletion operations have resulted in corruption worth millions of dollars.”
