Germany reveals the failure to break Israel’s siege and withdraws its operations in the Red Sea

On Wednesday, Germany officially retracted its resumption of naval operations at Bab Al-Mandeb.

This comes following the failure of the first attempt by the American alliance to break the Yemeni siege on Israel.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The spokesman for Hapag-Lloyd, one of the major German shipping companies worldwide, stated that the company still considers the situation in the Red Sea to be dangerous, confirming its intention not to resume operations through the Bab Al-Mandeb strait and to continue using the alternate route through the Cape of Good Hope.

Lloyd, along with several other shipping companies associated with Israel, was preparing to resume operations in the Red Sea, along with other shipping lines like the Danish Maersk. However, recent developments in the Red Sea have prompted the company to retract its decision.

The alliance led by the US attempted earlier on Tuesday to break the blockade imposed by the Yemeni navy on shipping vessels associated with Israel, but it failed. Israeli company MSC acknowledged that one of its ships was targeted, leading to their decision to redirect it through the Cape of Good Hope.
