The members expressed deep concern over reports of mass graves discovered in and around Nasser and Shifa hospitals in the Gaza Strip, where several hundred bodies were buried, including those of women, children, and the elderly.
The statement noted the need for accountability for violations of international law and called for an urgent, independent, detailed, thorough, transparent, and impartial investigation into mass graves.
He stressed the importance of allowing families to know the fate and whereabouts of their missing relatives, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
