American sacrifice of “GRAVELY” to save Eisenhower

The US admitted on Sunday that its naval fleet in the Red Sea, which includes the American aircraft carrier “Eisenhower,” was subjected to a new attack.

The US Central Command stated in a statement that the new attack was carried out with ballistic missiles and drones launched by what it described as the “Al-Houthis.”

The statement indicated that two of the missiles targeted the destroyer “USS GRAVELY,” while the rest of the targets were not identified, including the drones, one of which was claimed to have been shot down in the southern Red Sea, where the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” was stationed.

The American statement is the second within 24 hours, coming hours after the announcement by the Yemeni forces of carrying out six new maritime operations, one of which targeted the aircraft carrier Eisenhower.

Experts speculate that America’s admission of the targeting of “GRAVELY” is an attempt to save the reputation of “Eisenhower,” which houses a fleet of destroyers and aircraft carriers and is known as the “striking force” for the US military.
