UN warns of catastrophic deterioration in Gaza

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned that the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating due to repeated waves of displacement, overcrowding conditions, insecurity, collapsing infrastructure, continued hostilities and limited services.
According to humanitarian workers in Gaza, the latest Israeli evacuation order issued on Saturday affected some 13,500 displaced people in 18 locations. This includes the entire area of Maghazi camp and several other neighbourhoods in Deir al-Balah, they said.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned that continued hostilities, evacuation orders and severe shortages of essential items make it more difficult for displaced families to access basic services in the locations they reach.
