A new American admission of failure against Yemen

The American magazine The Atlantic warned that the military campaign launched by the administration of President Donald Trump against Yemen since mid-March may turn into a major scandal for the US due to the lack of a clear strategy to deal with the military and political reality imposed by the Sana’a forces.

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In its recent report, the magazine described the American air war as a “military rush without a plan,” driven by Trump’s desire to deliver quick and harsh strikes without assessing the consequences.

It added that the continuation of this approach would lead to counterproductive results and greater losses, especially with the escalation of the deterrence capabilities of the Sana’a forces and the steadfastness of the Yemeni domestic front.

Analysts believe that the magazine’s warnings reflect growing concern within American political and media circles about sliding into a futile war of attrition that could inflict serious damage on the US’ image and strategic standing in the region.

These warnings coincide with the escalation of the Sana’a forces’ operations against American and Israeli interests in the Red Sea and occupied Palestine, which multiplies the pressure on Washington and reveals the limited impact of its air military campaign in curbing Yemen’s capabilities or changing the equations on the ground.
