The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the death toll from Israel’s genocide against Palestinians has risen to “51,157 martyrs and 116,724 wounded” since October 7, 2023.
In its daily statistical statement, the Ministry said that “92 martyrs and 219 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Strip in the past 48 hours.”
It explained that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since Israel resumed its genocide in the Gaza Strip on March 18 has risen to “1,783 martyrs and 4,683 wounded.”
This brings the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, to 51,157 martyrs and 116,724 wounded, according to the statement.
It noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble of destroyed homes and on the streets, where it is difficult for ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them.
