The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll from the genocide perpetrated by Israel since October 7, 2023, has risen to 58,667 martyrs and 139,974 wounded.
The ministry said in a daily statistical statement: “About 94 martyrs and 367 wounded arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals within 24 hours,” including 24 martyrs and more than 32 wounded while awaiting aid.
It indicated that the total number of those the ministry calls “martyrs of livelihood” has risen to 877 martyrs and 5,666 wounded since May 27.
It explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
