Lebanon: Death toll from Israeli aggression rises to 1,072 since March 2

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country has risen to 1,072, with 2,966 wounded, since March 2.

The ministry stated in its daily report, seen by Anadolu Agency, that “33 people were killed and 90 others were wounded in the past 24 hours.”

Since March 2, Israel has been waging an offensive against Lebanon that has left 1,072 dead, 2,966 wounded, and more than one million displaced, according to Lebanese authorities.

Israel began its offensive with airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in the south and east of the country. The following day, it launched a limited ground incursion into southern Lebanon.
