Sana’a: Trump’s measures in the Strait of Hormuz reflect a state of failure and strategic confusion

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a government, Abdul Wahid Abu Ras, affirmed that the hostile measures led by US President Donald Trump and his Zionist partners “reflect a state of failure and strategic confusion,” indicating that these parties “continue to inflict further defeats upon themselves through policies with uncalculated outcomes.”

Abu Ras explained that the rapid developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the accompanying disruptions in global energy markets “are a direct result of the American-Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran,” warning that the continuation of these policies “will lead to definite damage to the global economy” in light of clear repercussions that have begun with rising oil prices in international markets.

He noted that previous objectives, including “overthrowing the regime in Iran” or “securing the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz,” have not been achieved, affirming that those attempts “ended in clear failure.”

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Sana’a stressed that “the axis of jihad and resistance cannot be broken,” citing the resilience of Gaza and the continuation of the confrontation despite difficult circumstances, adding that “the Zionist project in the region is facing a decline.” He called on some regimes to “reconsider their positions and not tie their fate to those policies” and also called on free people around the world to benefit from existing experiences, especially in the Latin American continent.

Abu Ras concluded his statement by criticizing the reception of Zionist teams in Saudi Arabia, at a time when the suffering of Gaza continues and casualties fall daily as a result of the crimes of the Israeli enemy entity, considering that these positions “contradict the principles of justice and solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
