Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continue to face dire living and humanitarian conditions, a consequence of the war and widespread destruction that has affected all aspects of life.
More than one million civilians are facing the repercussions of forced displacement, after large numbers were compelled to leave their homes, amidst challenges related to providing shelter, food, water, and basic services.
Nearly one million people, estimated to be residing in Gaza City, face daily bombardment and a lack of access to the means of survival, after the Israeli occupation army issued repeated evacuation orders from various areas of the Strip, leaving no safe place, according to a report issued by the United Nations in September 2025.
According to a report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) issued on May 15, 2026: “Living conditions in Gaza remain appalling, with most of the population displaced and exposed to ongoing health and environmental risks, while attacks on residential areas continue.” Despite their enormity, these figures are but a drop in the ocean of the Israeli entity’s aggressions since the occupation of some lands in the Middle East. It deliberately empties places in order to gain ew lands to add to its gains.
