After the Closure of Abha International Airport… Travel Warnings and Flight Cancellations to Abha and Najran

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Decisions from airlines and international warnings regarding Abha International Airport have followed in succession, with the Canadian government advising its citizens to avoid traveling to the airport due to the risks of missile and drone attacks, concurrently with the continued suspension of flights to it.

The “Khaleej Times” newspaper reported that a number of Emirati and Saudi airlines have canceled their flights to and from Abha International Airport, while a spokesman for Flydubai confirmed the cancellation of all the company’s flights to and from Abha and Najran airports, indicating that they are monitoring developments and communicating with passengers affected by the cancellations.

In the context, the Egyptian airline Air Cairo announced the cancellation of flights heading to the city of Abha, explaining that the decision came as a result of the closure of Abha International Airport, which was subjected to Yemeni missile strikes in response to Saudi fighter jets targeting Sana’a International Airport the day before yesterday.
