Including an Offer to Lift or Expand the Ban… The Yemeni Navy Sends New Messages to Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni Navy sent new messages to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday as it began arrangements for the first phase of the naval navigation ban.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The commander of the Coastal Defense Forces, Major General Mohammed Al-Qadri, stated that Saudi Arabia is now facing two choices with no third option: either lift the siege and stop its intervention in Yemen, or escalate. He affirmed the Yemeni forces’ ability to enforce the ban decision, just as they did with the Israeli occupation.

Al-Qadri threatened in a televised statement to expand the scope of the ban to include the Arabian Sea.

Al-Qadri affirmed the readiness of the Yemeni forces to impose the siege-for-siege, airport-for-airport, and ports-for-ports equations by force, pointing out that economic security is no longer separate from military security, and reiterating that Yemen’s options are open.

Yemen began implementing the decision to ban Saudi navigation in the Red Sea on Monday, against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s evasion of peace entitlements in Yemen, in addition to its continued air siege.
