Details of a new Yemeni strike on Saudi oil supply lines

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed in a military statement that the forces carried out a precise targeting operation against a number of sensitive targets and points related to the supply and transport of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu port, using a number of drones.

The statement explained that this operation came in response to the breach of Yemeni airspace by drones belonging to the Saudi regime.

Sana’a forces had announced on July 20 the imposition of a naval blockade on ships heading to Saudi ports, in response to the continued siege and aggression on Yemen, within the framework of the “siege-for-siege” equation.

Satellite images had shown the continued rise of smoke columns from Aramco facilities in Jizan, with crude oil loadings at Yanbu port declining by about 40% after July 19, an indicator of the impact of Yemeni operations on the Saudi economy.
