Lloyd’s List: The Targeted “Tihama” Ship Off Bab Al-Mandeb Was Carrying Weapons

The shipping affairs website “Lloyd’s List” revealed on Tuesday that the ship “Tihama,” which was attacked off the coast of Al-Mokha in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, was carrying a weapons shipment destined for Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces.

Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The site reported, citing Yemeni sources, that the attack resulted in the death of four crew members, including three Pakistanis and one Indonesian, and the injury of four others, indicating that the ship was used to transport weapons between Al-Mokha, the islands, and coastal areas under the control of Saudi-backed forces.

Sana’a forces have not yet claimed responsibility for the attack, while the incident coincides with a military escalation in the Al-Mokha area, where Sana’a forces have targeted mobilizations, weapons warehouses, and military headquarters belonging to Saudi-backed forces in recent days.
