The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2nd has risen to 4,354 martyrs and 12,325 wounded.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, rescue and emergency teams are continuing their operations to recover victims from under the rubble, while Israeli attacks continue to target several towns and villages in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In the latest attack, one person was killed and another wounded this morning in an Israeli drone strike that targeted the Al-Ruwaiss neighborhood, near the Al-Masouma Garden, in the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media reports.
Since the beginning of March, Lebanon has witnessed a significant military escalation as the Israeli occupation army intensifies its airstrikes and military operations, resulting in widespread destruction of infrastructure and residential buildings, as well as large-scale displacement and increasing pressure on the health sector and hospitals due to severe shortages of medical supplies and fuel. Despite Beirut and Tel Aviv signing a framework agreement under US auspices on June 26, the Israeli occupation continued its attacks on Lebanese territory, in an aggression that began on March 2 and left thousands of martyrs and wounded.
