Satellite images show continued fires in multiple sites in southern Saudi Arabia

Satellite imagery revealed on Tuesday the continuation of fires in southern Saudi Arabia, following the largest operation by the Yemeni forces.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

“Terra” images showed thick smoke rising from several sites in the Jizan region.

The sites belong to oil refineries of the Aramco company.

The oil facility, which produces about 400,000 barrels of oil per day, was subjected to an attack with ballistic missiles and drones as part of a wide target bank that included Aramco facilities in Najran, Abha, and Khamis Mushait, according to Yemeni forces’ confirmation.

The latest attack on the Jizan oil refineries is one of a series of operations Yemen has been carrying out since its decision to ban Saudi navigation on July 20.

The Saudi Ministry of Energy acknowledged in a statement the halt of operational processes at its facilities in the south of the country following damage to several facilities in the aforementioned areas.
