The British network “BBC” revealed details of part of the impact of the Sana’a forces operation that targeted the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today, Saturday.

According to the network, in a report, “a column of black smoke was seen near Riyadh International Airport hours after attack alerts were issued in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.”
The network indicated that this is “the first time residents in Riyadh have been alerted and urged to stay in their homes since the recent escalation in the conflict with Sana’a forces in neighboring Yemen.”
It noted that “a number of explosions were apparently heard in the capital, and major problems were reported at King Khalid International Airport, where the tracking website Flightradar24 reported delays and cancellations.”
One report indicated that a fuel tank was burned near the airport, and no official comment was issued by the Saudi authorities.

The Saudi Civil Defense had sent phone warnings during the night warning of a potential danger in Riyadh and other areas, before issuing a clear warning on Saturday morning.
Residents told Agence France-Presse on condition of anonymity that they heard what sounded like a round of explosions echoing in the city after the alerts.
The agency also reported that firefighters were seen trying to extinguish the flames of a burning fuel tank belonging to the state oil and gas company Aramco.
For its part, Sana’a forces announced that they carried out two military operations against Saudi Arabia, one of which targeted sensitive targets in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the other targeted Aramco facilities at Yanbu port.
