The “Houthi” Secures the First Government Institutions in Taiz City

The Sana’a forces on Tuesday took control of the most important government institutions in Taiz city, this coincides with their beginning of the operation to secure the city.

Local sources reported that the Sana’a forces took control earlier today of the central prison headquarters west of Taiz, noting that these forces released the captives and transferred the prisoners in criminal cases to safe areas.

The prison had witnessed on Monday evening accelerating developments, as the Islah factions began releasing a number of leaders involved in murder and banditry crimes and detained on account of dozens of cases.

The Islah step of releasing its leaders coincided with the advance of the Sana’a forces from the direction of Al-Dhabab.

The central prison is considered the first government institution in Taiz that the Sana’a forces have entered, which affirms their achievement of a wide advance during the recent hours in the battle to secure the city.
