Badr Kalashat, a leader of the Mahrah sit-in protest committee and a former Hadi government official, warned Saturday of the danger of British forces arriving in al-Ghaydah, and promised to confront them and any other foreign presence.
Kalashat said in a tweet that “Mahrah will not be a field for foreign forces and regional and international conflicts to settle their accounts on flimsy pretexts.”
Kelashat stressed that the presence of British troops in al-Mahrah cannot be tolerated.
He called on all free Yemeni people to counter attempts to occupy their country.
