Seizures of Oil Ships Continue, Many Provinces Experiencing a Fuel Crisis

The Saudi-led coalition prevented on Sunday one of oil ships from reaching the Hodeida port.

Spokesman of Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) in Sana’a, Issam Al-Mutawakel, announced that the coalition stopped the ambulance ship “Sea Adore” from entering the port.

“Further deepening the suffering of the Yemeni citizen, the coalition continues to intensify the stifling fuel crisis by preventing the UN-permitted oil ship from access to the port and took it the coast of Jizan,” he added.

The Yemeni Oil Company has confirmed on Thursday that the various Yemeni provinces are suffering from a stifling fuel crisis.

The company’s executive general manager, Ammar Al-Adra’i, said that there is a stifling fuel crisis that the citizen is suffering from in all Yemeni provinces.

Al-Adhra’i indicated that the company has the ability to provide fuel to all Yemeni regions through its branches at the lowest costs and at a unified price, provided that fuel ships are allowed to reach the port of Hodeidah permanently without objection, in addition to the United Nations performing its basic duty.
