Sana’a clarified on Tuesday, the nature of the deal led by the Omani delegation, this comes after the Sultanate of Oman announced its success in concluding a deal between Sana’a and the coalition that culminated in the release of 14 foreigners.

Muhammad Abd al-Salam, head of Sana’a negotiating delegation, confirmed that the deal included the release of the crew of the Emirati military cargo ship “Rawabi” alongside a British man who was carrying out “suspicious acts.”
Abdul Salam only indicated that the release of the Indians, Filipinos and Indonesians based on Omani mediation and that it was following legal measures.
Abdul Salam did not mention the Emirati and Saudi prisoners who were reportedly on the ship that was transporting a shipment of Saudi weapons from Socotra to Jizan when it was intercepted by the Yemeni coast guard months ago.
