Senior Official Issues Fiery Warning to UAE-Backed Militias in Mahra

A senior official in Mahra province, eastern Yemen, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition forces, has issued a fiery warning to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias, who have been brought from Dhalea and Yafa to the province.

“These days you see an uncharacteristic audacity by some of our brothers from other provinces with timid attempts at chaos,” said Badr Kalchat, deputy governor for youth affairs, in a tweet on his Twitter account.

He added, “Do not ever think that this silence is isolated from everything that is going on in your mind,” referring to the elements were brought in from Dhalea and Yafa to spread chaos in Mahra.

Kalshat warned these elements, saying: “We hope that you will live in this province calmly and safely and do not force us to make harsh decisions, which you will not expect. My message to everyone, calm down, to be safe.”
