Sana’a Reveals Details of Arresting Kidnappers, Killers of Judge Humran

The Interior Ministry in Sana’a government revealed on Friday the details of arresting the suspects of kidnapping and killing Judge Mohamed Humran.

Interior ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdulkhaleq al-Ajri said the police carried out search and investigation procedures which lead arresting the kidnappers and the killers of the Judge.

Al-Ajri added the police raided the kidnappers’ den and found the body of Judge Humran lying on the ground with bullet holes in his head, indicating that the police arrested the people who were present in the house.

The spokesman said Humran was kidnapped after leaving his house in al-Asbahi neighborhood in the Capital Sana’a and the kidnappers took him to a house in Haddah area killing him before the police arrived.

He pointed out that the initial information in this crime indicates the existence of previous disputes between the victim and the perpetrators due to private lands.

Al-Ajri reiterated that the Ministry will not hesitate to carry out their legal duties in maintaining security, prosecuting and apprehending criminals, and bringing them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment.

Earlier in the day, the Specialized Criminal Prosecution in the Capital announced that it had started investigations into the kidnapping and murdering Humran.

It is worth to mention that Humran was a member of the Supreme Court.
