Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Sana’a Government, Sheikh Hussein Hazeb, on Friday expected handing over of the areas under the control of the Saudi-led coalition in Marib province to Sana’a Authority peacefully.
“The city of Marib, which remains in the hands of the other side, will be entered, God willing, peacefully,” Hazeb said in a tweet on Twitter.
Sheikh Hazeb did not talk about any other details, amid political speculation that this comes as a prelude to a political solution within the framework of extending the humanitarian truce, based on Omani mediation efforts, without an official clarification from the Sanaa government and the other parties.
