GPC, Anssarallah Discuss Latest Developments on National Scene

An extended meeting was held in the capital, Sana’a, between leaders of the General People’s Congress (GPC) and Anssarallah Movement to discuss the latest developments on the national scene.

In the meeting, the officials stressed on the importance of strengthening coordination between the national forces, foremost of which is the Congress and Ansarullah, to raise the level of national work and activity to strengthen the home front to face the challenges and dangers facing the homeland and to confront the coalition and the colonial conspiracies targeting Yemen.

They stressed the significance of strengthening national consensus and partnership, emphasizing national constants in preserving the republican system, Yemeni unity, sovereignty and independence, and rejecting all projects and conspiracies of the invaders and colonialists.

The meeting also affirmed the support of the leadership’s efforts regarding the UN armistice and the pursuit of peace with all deterrent options for commitment to implementing the requirements of the humanitarian file as one integrated and indivisible package leading to stopping the aggressive war, lifting the siege, ending the occupation, reconstruction, reparations, and raising the name of Yemen from Chapter VII.

The meeting was attended by two assistant secretaries for the GPC’s organizational sector, Khaled Al-Sharif, and the political sector, Abdullah Mujeidi, and the head of the parliamentary bloc, member of the General Committee, Azzam Salah, and the head of the ministerial bloc, member of the General Committee, Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and the head of the political department, member of the General Committee, Abdou Al-Adla, in addition to members of the Political Bureau for Anssarullah, Ali Al-Qahoum, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, and Dr. Hizam Al-Assad.
