Saudi Military Reinforcements Arrive in Abyan, Heading to Aden

The “Dera Al-Watan forces” (Shield of the Homeland) established by Saudi Arabia, have arrived on Wednesday evening, to the city of Ahwar in Abyan province, heading towards the city of Aden.

According to the sources, these forces have close relations with al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood

The sources pointed out that Saudi Arabia sent these elements after training them in its territory during the past months, likely that the kingdom has sent unknown elements who participated in the fight against the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

The sources pointed out that these extremist elements are about to enter the city of Aden on board dozens of military vehicles and armored vehicles, indicating that the Saudi Air Force was able to transport them by air to Aden without trouble.

Saudi Arabia wanted to show off those forces while passing through the border crossing of Al-Wadia, in messages of defiance to the people of the south loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), according to local observers.
