Sana’a executes the largest show on the border, threatens to close Bab Al-Mandeb, and tracks US-Israeli movements

Sana’a has threatened to respond to US-Israeli movements near its borders and coastlines.

Exclusive / Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Sana’a forces conducted the largest maneuvers on the border with Saudi Arabia.

The maneuvers codenamed “Al-Aqsa Flood,” involved military helicopters and various units.

They coincided with the disclosure by Deputy Foreign Minister in the Rescue Government, Hussein Al-Azzi, that Sana’a forces had deployed naval units to monitor movements “in the high seas,” in what appeared to be a reference to Bab Al-Mandab, hinting at a response.

These movements coincide with the revelation by Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department in Sana’a Forces, Brigadier General Abdullah Amer, of “suspicious” movements in the Red Sea, pointing to the leadership of America and the participation of three Arab countries in a military effort a few days ago to protect ships heading to and from Eilat, despite Yemen not posing any maritime threat.

Bin Amer downplayed the possibility of the new movement being related to drones and missiles, alluding to Sana’a’s attacks on the occupation and suggesting that it may be part of arrangements for military escalation.

Bin Amer’s statements coincide with the announcement by the US of sending new reinforcements to the Red Sea, transferring the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” to the Red Sea instead of the Mediterranean, amid Saudi threats in response to what the assistant editor-in-chief of Okaz described as the Houthis’ disregard for American threats through an intermediary to stop attacks on Israel.

These developments come at a time when American media outlets have revealed anticipation of the collapse of the truce between Sana’a and Riyadh due to the escalation of Yemeni attacks deep into the occupied territories of Palestine.
