Gaza | Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announces its collapse in the face of the number of wounded

The director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Iyad Abu Zaher, announced on Sunday that the hospital “is no longer able to provide even the minimum services and has collapsed in the face of the number of wounded,” confirming that they are receiving a large number of wounded, exceeding the hospital’s capacity multiple times.

Gaza / Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

More than 70% of the martyrs and wounded who arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital are women and children, according to Abu Zaher, who stated that “the types of injuries that arrive are complex” and that they must prioritize among the injured. There were 5,000 wounded and 2,100 bodies that arrived at the hospital.

Abu Zaher called on the international community to expedite the rescue of the healthcare sector in Gaza, which has been subjected to Israeli aggression for 30 days, before it is too late.

The Ministry of Interior in Gaza revealed that “the number of casualties from the aggression has risen to more than 37,000, including martyrs, the wounded, and the missing,” pointing out that the media is “unable to perform its duty due to the targeting of journalists and the difficulty of their movement.”
