Conflicting British reports regarding the location of a ship that was attacked in the Bab Al-Mandeb

In a step that reflects the state of confusion within the UK, which has taken over the responsibility for protection in the Red Sea from America, Britain issued conflicting statements on Wednesday regarding the location of a cargo ship that was attacked in the last few hours.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

While the British Maritime Trade Operations Organization claimed that the ship, flying the Maltese flag, was attacked near the Eritrean port of Assab on the other side of the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, approximately 33 nautical miles away, the British maritime security firm “Ambrey” asserted that the attack occurred 15 nautical miles away from the port of Mocha.

It is still unclear if this disparity is a result of efforts to provoke regional conflicts by portraying the attack as taking place in Eritrean territorial waters or if it is part of a struggle between British bodies, particularly Ambrey, which seeks to strengthen its contracts with shipping companies.

Regardless of the attack’s location, it reveals one truth at this time: all Western battleships stationed on the Eritrean coast, including American and Israeli bases, have become within range of Yemeni forces, and more importantly, it is incapable of intercepting any attack in any area of the Red Sea.
