Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense, said that the Israeli occupation army threatens about 80,000 citizens in the northern Gaza Strip with death, and demands that they evacuate the area immediately, pointing out that those who leave their homes are bombed by the occupation forces.
He added, “Basal said that the Israeli occupation rejects the work of civil defense teams in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, and prevents them from exercising their humanitarian tasks, pointing out that the occupation targeted more than one family in the north, for example, the Abu Al-Nasr family, about 50 members of which were targeted in one bombing of one of their homes, as well as the Ghandour family.
“The occupation is now threatening Palestinians and preventing them from food, drink and services, as well as preventing service providers from performing their duties.”
He stressed: “We live in the north of the Gaza Strip in a catastrophic reality par excellence, a reality that cannot be tolerated and ignored, as the situation now for those who did not die in the northern Gaza Strip from the bombing will die of famine.”
