The US Navy Secretary, Carlos Del Toro, admitted that American warships have been subjected to broad strikes by forces from Sana’a.

Del Toro said in remarks aboard a warship in San Diego that “the attacks on American warships in the Red Sea by Yemen are infuriating.”

He noted, “Our naval forces have not been attacked in this manner since World War II.”

This comes as Sana’a forces continue to target aircraft carriers and American naval vessels in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and the Bab Al-Mandeb strait as part of their supportive operations for Gaza.
